On Monday 12 December, the AfroEuro Foundation hosted the first ‘Health is Wealth Summit’ in celebration of Universal Health Coverage Day. The Summit was designed to foster partnerships and ignite transformation in health financing and delivery in Africa. Vincent Gambrah, Director of the Foundation, hosted the event, while Angèle Mayimona Nascimento-The Triple Queen moderated and provided insightful summaries.

The full Summit program was a stimulating mix of speakers and panels, which were expertly guided by the facilitators’ critical questions and the audience’s active engagement. The Summit brought together a diverse range of professionals from the African diaspora and the Netherlands, including those from the embassy, university/research institute, private sector, consultancy, NGO, and Dutch government.

It was an inspiring event that is sure to spark meaningful conversations and collaborations as we work towards greater health equity in Africa.

The Netherlands-Ghana Business Fair has been the major annual event of AfroEuro Foundation in collaboration with the Embassy of Ghana in the Netherlands, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) since 2010.

This year’s fair was held on Wednesday 28th September through Friday, 30th September 2022 in the Hague under the theme: “Our Digital Future: Ghana Beyond 2022”. The Fair was tailored to meet specific needs and provide an interactive platform for business collaboration and networking. There were business interactions and discussions to promote each country’s plans in specific sectors including agriculture, trade, housing, financial services, ICT, and investment. In addition, there were workshops to prepare local businesses on partnership building and negotiation for business purposes.
