About the Expo

The Ghana Tourism & Cultural Expo is organized by the AfroEuro Foundation in collaboration with key stakeholders such as the Ghana Tourism Authority.  Our mission is to create a landmark event that serves as a unique platform, uniting tourism, travel, and cultural organizations from both Ghana and the Netherlands.

The Netherlands-Ghana Tourism & Cultural Expo aims to commemorate 150 years of the abolition of the slave trade by organizing an event that highlights the common history of Ghana and the Netherlands. The expo will serve as a platform to showcase the cultural and tourism heritage of countries, fostering understanding, collaboration, and friendship. By building bridges between Ghana and the Netherlands, we seek to promote cultural exchange, tourism development, and economic cooperation.

The expo provides a unique platform to showcase the rich cultural and tourism heritage of both countries. Through vibrant displays, interactive exhibits, and engaging performances, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the diverse traditions, customs, and art forms that have shaped these nations throughout history.

In addition to promoting cultural understanding, the Netherlands-Ghana Tourism & Cultural Expo seeks to bolster tourism development in both nations. The expo will showcase the music, dance, food, historical landmarks, and unique attractions that make Ghana and the Netherlands prime destinations for travellers. Through this platform, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the tourism potential of each country, inspiring them to explore and experience the wonders they have to offer.

Moreover, the expo serves as a catalyst for economic cooperation. By bringing together businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors from Ghana and the Netherlands, the event creates opportunities for collaboration and trade. It serves as a gateway for exploring joint ventures, investment prospects, and mutually beneficial partnerships that can drive economic growth in both countries.
